Just Move On

Someone told me "Sometimes the best thing you can do is move forward and create better memories with someone else, because some people come into your life for a reason, some for a season, and some for life. And every so often they will overlap into eachother-wait for that."

I don't cry anymore thinking about the memories made, and not making more with you.

Thank you for the laughter, the calmness, pushing me out of my comfort zone, and for accepting me as myself. You've helped me gain confidence in myself that I lacked, and learned that I can trust others.

I hope you are doing fine and accomplishing what you set out to do. I'm still cheering you on; even in the shadows.

We may not be close anymore, but I'll never forget how happy I was when I was around you. I just wish you could see what a positive impact you had made in my life."

This is a letter I wrote to someone who I thought was a friend. Out of nowhere they cut me off- that hurt.

I wonder if the feeling I had during this period of my life, is how God thinks towards us. He wants us to be with Him, but won't force us to do something we don't want to do - it is our decision and our free will to have a relationship with Him, or not. We can accept or reject Him in our lives, and how much we interact with Him.  A friendship take two (or more) people who mutually want each other in their lives, and aligning with similar goals, morals, or values.

Here is to finding those friends, and strengthening connections with others.

[Isa 53:3-5 KJV] 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
