2025

It’s the first day of 2025, where intentions of bettering ones self and setting resolutions are in high spirit. Why not include starting off the year with the most import decision you will ever make, that will last the rest of your life!

I encourage you in your endeavors of reaching a financial mark, loosing weight, and gaining knowledge (or any other goal you’ve set) as all are good things to aim for; even I have a few. Please remember, though they make life more pleasurable, all are only temporary, as death is inevitable for everyone. However, the one thing that will last forever is your soul. Have you thought about what will happen to it after your time on earth has ended? If not, this is the time to know for sure.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered the world” (Romans 5:12) That one man was the first person created in the world. This happened when Adam ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. (Genesis 2:17) Why does this matter? Romans continues “and death by sin: and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” We are all born with sin within us, passed down through generations of men. This is a problem for humans...

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) Sin can not be in the presence of God, so he provided us a way to return to His perfect righteousness; by sending Jesus to earth to deliver us and take our sin through the gift of grace through faith. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yer sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour: that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” (Hebrews 2:9) “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21) “Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.” (Galatians 1:4) “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” (Ephesians 1:7) That they all may be one: as though, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 17:21)

For since by man came dead, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.” (1 Corinthians 15:21) “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) “I have glorified thee on earth I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” (John 17: 4) This was accomplished when Christ said “It is finished” on the cross.  “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”(Ephesians 2:8-9) Like any gift, all you have to do is accept it.

Because salvation through this gift of grace was provided by God himself, nothing can separate those who have believed for their salvation. “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, not things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39) “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:13)

I’m sharing this, as salvation brings a new outlook on life as you now view the world through Christ.

I am crucified with Christ: neverthelesss I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)  “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance” (Galatians 5:22-23) Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. (Philippians 1:11)

If you made it to the end, thank you for taking the time to read this; may it resonate within and start or remind you to cultivate your spiritual walk. Happy New Year!
