Great is Thy Faithfulness

Stumbled across an arrangement of  "Great is Thy Faithfulness" awhile back, and have played it numerous of times.

As the lyrics say;

[V1]Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father

There is no shadow of turning with Thee

Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not

As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be


[V3]Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth

Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide

Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me


What a wonderful reminder that I am a child of God; I can call him my Father. He never changes , He is always present, and He  sacrificed his son for our redemption from sin. We are given joy and peace of our future;because we are given the ending through his word.


Psalm 28:7 KJV

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.


John 3:16-17 KJV

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.


Lamentations 3:22-25 KJV

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. [23] They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. [24] The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. [25] The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.


1 Peter 5:6-10 KJV

[4] And patience, experience; and experience, hope: [5] And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 2 Thessalonians 3:1-6 KJV

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: [2] And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. [3] But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. [4] And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. [5] And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
