Started off the day hearing one of my favorite speakers.

Edward Yarber: Ungodliness
Ungodliness is mentioned in the Bible 4 times.
Romans 1:18, Romans 11:26, 2 Timothy 2:16, and Titus 2:12.

Ungodliness deserves wrath and  takes many forms.
How ungodliness entered the world. Gen 3:1-14 

They disregarded God, Sin entered the world- Romans 5:12


God is holy and Just,  There will be consequences
                            Disregarded God                             
  God's wrath apon them
  Adam & Eve, the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Kicked out of the Garden of Eden
wickedness of man in the generations after Adam. 
sends the flood to destroy the all.
             One speech, one city, and a tower. 
Confused of speech, scattered the people.

 God's Judgement
God's judgment is according to the truth- Romans 2:2
According to guilt- Romans 2:5
According to his work- Romans 2:6
With out respect of persons- Romans 2:11
According to performance, not knowledge Romans 2:13 
God's judgment reaches to his heart 2:16

The Last days - 2 Timothy 3:1-7 
Our hope is in Jesus Christ- Titus 2:11-12

Justification BY faith, Justification THROUGH faith. -Romans 3:30

 -BY faith-
Deuteronomy 6:24   The commandments
Mark 10:17 -21   Things they needed to do, by faith.
James 2:21   God gave them a work to do, in addition to faith.

 -THROUGH faith- 
Romans 5:17-19   By one man's righteousness,the gift of life was given freely.
Romans 3:21-25  By faith of Jesus Christ we are given righteousness
2 Corinthians 5:21  He was made  to be sin for us.

 Galatians 2:16- not justified by the works of the law.
Philippians 3:9- not mine own righteousness, but through the faith of Christ.
Ephesians 1:13- We are sealed with the spirit, after we believe the salvation.

The just shall live by faith-  Romans 1:16-17 
Concluding the law- Romans 3:18
The pivotal change- Romans 3:21-31

 -The law is not a failure but it was weak though the flesh- 
Adam's flesh, Israel's Flesh,  and Abraham's flesh.

God will not break his own word. He made a place to keep them and to hold them forever.

Romans 4:1
Though his faith we are justified - Romans 3:25-28
Gave himself as a sacrifice - Ephesians 5:2

I really  dislike elevators, especially when you are one of the top floors...
I've been getting very  bad vertigo due to the elevators, going up and down.

Don't you just love it when people stare at you in Walmart because your hanging out by the school supplies, holding onto the shelf of notebooks,
 all because you are afraid to take a step because you got dizzy.
Thankfully it didn't last long.


Because of it I decided to take a nap instead of going to one of the seminars.

Ephesians 3:1-5  It was kept a secret
Something was hidden, and it was hidden from man.
Hidden in God, but its no longer hidden.
Acts 26:16 compared to 2 Corinthians 12:1 & 4

 Why does Paul use personal pronouns? (Ephesians 3:1-5)
Because it is something special and unique that is happening though him.

Ephesians 2:14 & 19. Ephesians 3:10 =NOW
Amos 3:7  'Secrets' arn't all what Paul's talking about.
Amos 3     Nothing happens without cause and effect.
Deuteronomy  4:1-7   Moses commands
Matt 8:4
Matt 19:17

 1 Timothy 1:12-13   In light of the program Paul was truly a sinner
Galatians 1:13  he had persecuted the church of God.
Acts 22:4-5
1 Corinthians   15:8 Born out of due time
 Job 3:11. Job 3:16.  
He had died to prophecy.

 1 Timothy 2:4 Have all men come to the knowledge of truth.
2 Timothy 1:9 we were called  with a holy calling

 Separate/depart from this  evil world.
Numbers 16:21 & 26 .2 Timothy 2:16 & 21

It was storming  after the meeting. 
I was able to capture some images before it started to down pour.
What a great example of God's ability and reminder that God is still in control and always will be.

Ended the night, with some game time and fellowship.

While reading Hebrews I noticed a pattern: Better position/creation Heb 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
