I was super excited and thankful that I was able to go along with the high-school group to help prepare meals for the 'Feed my starving children' organization.

I was super excited and thankful that I was able to go along with the high-school group to help prepare meals for the 'Feed my starving children' organization.

We were going to prepare the Potato-W.
This is the only center that makes it right now.
A total of around 30 people came from the conference
and with a few other groups as well.
My table was preparing meals for Kenya.
After each box, we let the F.M.S.C staff know it was full by yelling our chant.
"Can ya cook for Kenya."
I hopped around a few of the different stations.
Bagging, weighing, and also the soy.
Mostly I stayed at bagging, because I was one of ones in the group
that was getting a hang of opening the bags.
They were tricky at times!
We all were able to fill 136 boxes of food in about 2 hours.
Let me break it down.
120 minutes of service.
3 ingredients.
136 boxes.
4,352 bags.
Each bag has 12, 1/2 c. servings
that is 52,224 meals that will help save children's lives!
I loved knowing that I am making a difference in someones life.
Even if they will never know who I am, I'm glad I got to be apart of it.
"The littlest of things, will make the biggest impact in the world."
